My Journey So Far...
Early Foundations: Studying Abroad and Entering Global Education
My journey began in China, where I completed my Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Kunming University. Soon after, I stepped into international education through my work with Southwest Forestry University. I represented their international programmes, helped them recruit students for their first intake of English-medium program, and initiated partnership discussions with Green University Bangladesh and City University Bangladesh for exchange and dual-degree opportunities.
These early responsibilities showed me the impact of strong international partnerships and set the foundation for the work I would pursue in the years ahead.
Building Experience: International Business and Student Recruitment
I later joined Meeting Crystal Co. Ltd. as an Overseas Business Development Manager. There, I worked with international buyers, managed online store operations, wrote product content, ran advertisement campaigns and handled ongoing customer communication. This role helped me understand marketing, sales and user experience from a practical point of view.
After moving to London, I joined H and H Global Education. I began by guiding students through admissions, application checks and preparation for their studies abroad. I then supported the organisation in a development role where I focused on market research, data organisation and improvements to internal systems. During this time, I completed my MSc in Business with Business Analytics, which strengthened my ability to use data to support decision making.
Today: Higher Education Consultant with a Focus on Practical Digital Solutions
I now work in operations and marketing at H and H Global Education. I support the growth of the organisation across new regions, help onboard partners from South Asia and Africa, provide training and keep daily operations running smoothly.
A major part of my work is digital improvement. I introduced an open-source CRM that saves the organisation a significant amount each year. I also built the digital admissions portal, developed the partner system and created the ApplyFlow platform to support both direct applicants and recruitment agents.
Alongside my main role, I help small organisations with digital setups such as CRM deployment, system design and simple automation. Many smaller businesses cannot afford expensive platforms, yet they still need organised processes and clear communication tools. Supporting them is something I want to continue building through this platform.
“I see myself as a higher education consultant in London who cares about digital improvement, honest marketing and solutions that people can actually use. This space is where I share what I’ve learned and help others understand higher education, marketing and digital tools with clarity.”
